This month we’re celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month by honoring traditions, highlighting influential Hispanic/Latino individuals, and building community through our door displays. Today, we have guest judges visiting classrooms to view each door. We announced awards for the top four doors.
Our judges were impressed by the thought and care put into these doors. Congratulations to our top four winners: 4th place: Basco’s class, 3rd place: Milam’s class, 2nd place: Guidry’s class, and 1st place: the Bourgeois class.
Families, you’re invited! When you come to our Fall Concert on 9/30/26 at 6:00 PM, please arrive a few minutes early to walk the halls and check out our Hispanic Heritage Month door displays. Each class created a door to honor traditions and celebrate influential Hispanic/Latino individuals. We can’t wait for you to see our students’ work!

Please help us keep students safe and instruction on time by following our carpool schedule:
1. **Morning drop-off:** Carpool begins at 6:55 a.m. Students must be in line and arriving **no later than 7:25 a.m.**
**7:25 a.m. is considered late.** Late arrivals require a parent/guardian to sign students in.
**If students are eating in the cafeteria, they need to be at school by 7:15 to have time to eat and to arrive to class by 7:25.**
2. **Afternoon pick-up:** Dismissal begins at 2:55 p.m. Please be in the carpool line and ready to pick up your child **by 3:10 p.m.**
- **3:10 p.m. is considered late pick-up.** Late pick-ups require ID and signing out in the front office.

Weather note: During inclement weather, we cannot accommodate parents in the cafeteria, and the courtyard will be closed.
Who may join:
Only your child may eat lunch with you.
Please do not invite or allow other students to join you.
Check-in is required (every visit):
Sign in at the front office
Obtain and wear a visitor tag at all times
Food options:
You’re welcome to purchase a lunch in the cafeteria
Or bring your own lunch Reminder: Outside food must be in unlabeled packaging

For student safety, please do not drop students off before 6:55 AM, and do not leave any student unattended at any time.
